Plan inclusions

We accept all boiler makes and manufacturers providing they are powered by mains gas, with the exeptions of the below listed boilers and manufacturers.

Repairs to you boiler including replacement if required, of (but not limited to and excluding failure due to sludge, scale, rust or corrosion);


Pumps

Fans

Heat exchangers 

Diverter valves
Gas burners
Gas valves
Valves and accessory pipes 
Sensors and switches
Control (PCB) boards
Expansion vessels
Repair or replacement of standard boiler controls including thermostats, timers.


Plan exclusions

Boilers connected to under floor heating and warm air systems
Gas appliances other than the boiler

Any fault where scale/sludge or rust is the cause of the fault

Known manufacturer faults where the manufacturer has taken action previously to remedy the fault of future parts produced, but the part has not been replaced on your boiler

Recurring faults (where a part has been replaced previously by us or a previous provider and has not lasted more than 50% of the manufacturers current boiler warranty period

Pre-existing faults

Intermittent faults for example (but not limited to) faults that are no longer present after resetting the boiler or topping up of boiler pressure.

Any fault you believe may be in existence when the boiler is still producing heating and hot water.

Underfloor heating systems
Fan convector heating
Heated towel rails
Frozen pipes
Adjustment of timers, thermostats and controls
Pipework that is more than 35mm in diameter

Sludge, scale or rust in or on the system

Any cost associated with the draining or refilling of the system in order to complete a repair
Pressurized cylinders and their components

Repair or replacement of wireless or internet connected controls, thermostats and valves

Reducing noise within the system

Plan inclusions


Repairs to leaking pipes or joints

Repair to a non flushing toilet where no other toilet is available in the property

Clearance of a blocked sink

Unblocking of a toilet or waste pipe
Repair to a leaking soil vent pipe
Unblocking of external underground drainage pipes

Plan exclusions

Frozen pipes

Showers including the shower unit, controls, outlet and showerhead

Domestic appliances
Replacement of sanitary ware
Cost of water lost during a leak
Reducing noise within the systems
External guttering, rainwater soakaways and rainwater drains
Drains that you don’t have sole responsibility for (including shared drains)

Any works outside the boundary of your property

Replacement of taps (including main stop tap)
Re-aligning of the drain after a blockage is removed


Electrical


Plan inclusions

Repairs to a faulty fuse box or consumer unit

Lost power to a circuit

Broken or failed light switch

Faulty pendant lights
Repair of faulty electric shower cable up to but not including the isolation switch
Repair of wiring to an immersion heater
Failed wiring of the supply cable to any appliance isolation switch that is connected to your property without the use of a plug. For example - smoke alarms, alarms, AC units and ovens.

A power cut in the property that has not caused permanent damage

Resetting of circuit breakers

Domestic appliance repairs
Replacing of light bulbs, fuses and fuse wire
Adjusting of timers and thermostats
Any buried or recessed cables and light fittings
Works to rubber, pyrotenax or lead cable
Any cable that does not carry 230v

Electric and power shower units

Electric heaters and boilers
Replacement of decorative light fittings

 

Security and Pests


Plan inclusions


Gaining emergency access to your property when the lock is broken or you have lost your key
Replacing lost keys and repairing broken locks for doors which secure your home

Repairs to windows that will not secure

Temporary repair to a leaking roof

Treatment to an infestation of rats and mice inside your home or wasp/hornet nest within your home or garden

Repairs to internal doors

Removing rats or mice in your garden

Replacing locks or lost keys where you have another set

Gaining access when you have another external door to the property
